For the Spoils is a game of scoundrels looking to score big, based on the narrative prompt system of For the Queen. One or more players will work collaboratively to tell the story of a crew planning, executing, and facing the fallout from a score. As is typical of heists in film and TV, your story will be told in a non-linear fashion - with point-of-view shifts, flashbacks, and other common tropes of the genre. A session of play typically takes from 1 to 3 hours, depending on how much detail the players add to the narrative.

We recently played this as a four people group which was mostly familiar with For the Queen already and even though we decided to go for a dark cyberpunk theme, I ended up laughing tears as we tried to steal the blueprints for a self-cleaning McDonalds ice-cream machine. Definitely going to play it again soon
